This is the second book i have read by Rebecca and much like like the last book i really enjoyed it. I love how she has a story line that is common but finds away to make them different. She really molds her characters so you know who they are and what role they play in the main character/character's lives. I always hate reading a book where the characters, have no substance and do not really stand for anything. Basically they are well developed and established. Also, the author develops the setting really well. Some people like this, while others just wan to delve right into the story. I would recommend reading Teenage Dirtbag first, just so you have an idea of who some of the characters are. However you can enjoy this book just as easily as a stand still. The book it self had moments when i really wanted to yell at them to stop being so stupid and realize your both crazy about each other. Then i kind of had to remind myself that i probably would hate the book if it was easy because it would not be real!!! Overall, I feel this was a good follow up to Teenage Dirtbag. It may sound weird but i really think she is growing as an author and her writing shows it. Flinging dirt was different enough that I did not feel like i was reading Teenage Dirtbag again but had the same charm that i so loved in it.Product details
